About Us

Mandy

Hi, I’m Mandy! I’m a Dental Hygienist, Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist and Buteyko Breathing Instructor with a deep passion for uncovering the root causes of oral and overall health challenges. My journey into this field is personal – I’ve experienced firsthand the impact of a wide range of therapies, from braces and headgear to nasal surgery, osteopathy and cranial sacral therapy. This has given me a unique insight into the complexities of health and healing.

My expertise grew further through my work at Complete Health Dentistry of West Michigan and as a member of the American Academy for Oral Systemic Health (AAOSH). There, I honed my skills in sleep medicine, craniofacial development, and the oral-systemic connection, allowing me to offer a holistic approach to health and wellness.

Janetta

Hello,  My name is Janetta, and I have been a Dental Hygienist for 15 years. I became interested in dental hygiene because of my passion for helping people improve their health. Over time, I developed a keen interest in understanding growth and development, particularly in relation to preventing sleep-disordered breathing. As I began to recognize signs of this condition in my patients, I felt a growing frustration because I didn’t have the tools to help them.

This led me to explore Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy, a field that intrigued me due to its potential to address issues I saw daily in my practice. After all, we breathe every moment of every day – why not make sure we’re doing it correctly?

I’m excited to embark on this journey with you, helping to improve breathing and support healthy growth!

Carrie

Raised in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, Carrie graduated from Ferris State University in 2011 in Dental Hygiene, where she was honored with the Golden Scaler Award, recognizing her as an outstanding dental hygiene student. She spent over a decade working in traditional dentistry, building a strong foundation in patient care and clinical excellence.

A turning point came after moving to Grand Rapids, Michigan, where Carrie began working in a biological and functional dentistry practice. There, discussions around airway health and sleep were part of every patient visit. Seeing signs of dysfunction so frequently sparked a deeper curiosity and desire to help patients beyond traditional dentistry. This led her to pursue advanced education in airway health and orofacial myofunctional therapy.

Carrie has completed extensive training and is officially an Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist. She moved to New Hampshire in 2023, where she lives with her husband and their 12-year-old corgi. Carrie now works primarily through virtual appointments, helping patients restore function and improve overall wellness from wherever they are.
